Front panel and Key Illustration
HOP-1001/2/3/5 front panel

Explanation for each part on the front view.
1	power :	· During electric power on, LED is on. · During data transmission, LED is flashing
2	Status :	· The LED will not be turned on under normal situation of the phone. · If the LED is turned on to RED, it means there may be the situation for the phone as follows. a. The phone is not registered into the GK (gate keeper ). b. The phone is not connected to the GK. c. The phone is under setup mode.
3	Hold	When the communication is going on, the green colored LED is on. It is off without communication.
4	Spd Dial :	The key will be used to set up the dial number that the customer wants. It is unnecessary to dial the number one by one.
5	BS :	This key will be used to erase the wrong press during dialing.
6	Vol :	If this key is pressed, the current volume level is displayed and “+” or “–“ key can be effective. This key shall be pressed to adjust the volume of handset in handset mode ( without pressing the (17) key ) and in hand free mode ( pressing the (17) key )
7	”+” :	This key increases the volume.
8	”-” :	This key decreases the volume.
9	Number :	This key displays its phone number that the customer set up.
10	Mis_Calls :	The customer may press this key. Then, it will display ”missed calls”.The customers can see the missed call numbers by pressing “+” or ”-“ key. Memorizing numbers can be more than 40 calls.
11	Rec Calls :	The customer may press this key. Then, it will display ”answered calls”.The customer can see the answered call numbers by pressing “+” or ”-“ key. Memorizing numbers can be more than 40 calls.
12	Dial Calls :	You can press this key. Then, it will display ”dialed calls”. The customer can see the dialed call numbers by pressing “+” or ”-“ key. Memorizing numbers can be more than 40 calls.
13	Flash :	The customer can press this key to make another call without hook on.
14	Hold :	During talking, the customer may press this key to pause talking. Then, the partner can not hear the customer’s talking to another person. If the customer presses it again, he or she can continue talking with the partner again.
15	Redial :	This key is used to redial the phone number .
16	Local IP :	This key can display this phone’s IP address.
17	speaker :	This key is for hand free mode. Mark is
18	# :	This key is for dialing or for some function
19	LCD screen :	It will display the situation of the phone.
20	handset :	It is for talking and listening.

HOP-1001/2/3/5 flank side

Explanation for each part on the Flank Side
1	power :	It is a power jack for DC 9V ~ 12 V.
2	Switch :	It is power on/off switch. “on” is right hand side.
3	PC :	If the type is HOP-1002/3/4/5 , it can be connected to PC. If not, there is not this connector.
4	R J45 :	It is used for connecting to the hub in LAN.

 

·	After power on, there shall be displayed “Ready for Calls” on the LCD screen. If there is not, there may be something wrong with the connection.
·	A few minute later, its expression will be changed to the date and time. In this case, the phone can be used. It means that the phone is registered to the gatekeeper.
·	If it is necessary, please use VOL key, then, press , and to adjust volume, This adjusted value will be changed to the default value after power off.
·	If it is necessary, please use key to show its IP address.
·	If it is necessary, please use Number key to show its phone number.
·	If it is necessary, please use speaker  key can be used for hand freemode.

·  When the phone rings, it means phone-call from somebody.
·	Reception by handset	You can talk by picking up the handset. After finishing your talk, put back the handset, and it will return to the normal mode
·	Handset to hand-free	During talking, if you want to change to hand free mode, you just press the speaker key, put down the handset and go on you talking. After finishing your talk, press the speaker key again, and it will return to the normal mode.
·	Reception by hand-free	When the phone rings, if you don’t want to pick up the handset, you just directly press the speaker key to make your talk. After finishing your talk, press the speaker key again and it will return to the normal mode.
·	Hand-free to handset	During your talking, if you want to change to handset, just pick up the handset and go on your talking. After finishing your talk, put down the handset, and it will return to the normal mode.

Note: During talking in the hand-free mode, please try to keep quiet about 24 cm around
the phone as not to influence your talk.

Dial in the gateway mode
·	Dial with handset in your hand	Pick up the handset and you can just dial the phone number. After dialing the phone number, add the # key. If you hear “toot…toot”, it means the phone of the called partner must be ringing. Please wait for him or her picking up the handset for talking. After finishing, it will return to the normal mode.
·	Call by hand-free	Press the speaker key. There will be idle sound. Then, you can dial your partner’s phone number. After finishing your talking, just press the speaker key again to return to the normal mode. If there is busy sound after dial, it means the called partner is under using.You put down the handset. If you want to dial the same number again, you just press the  Redial   key.
·	Quick-dial :Spd Dial	Press the number buttons from 1 to 9 and   Spd Dial  , You can use thephone number pre-stored. For example: press 2 , 2 and Spd Dial  keys. Then, you can take out theNo.22 phone number pre-stored in your phone.
